As mentioned in a previous post, I’d ordered a replacement back cap for the G-Sight* Laser Training Cartridge which was delivered today!
The back cap, which is basically the switch for the laser that’s triggered by the firing pin, arrived in a very minimal package which totally served its purpose.
It did take the slightest bit of twisting to get the back cap installed on the G-Sight cartridge, but it works just fine.
A quick 10 rounds with a Glock G19 Gen 5, and we’re back in business with a new cartridge switch!
I’ll hold on to the original back cap, as beat up as it is, just in case I might need a battered, but still functioning replacement.
* I’m pretty sure this would also work fine with the Pink Rhino laser cartridge. I didn’t get to try it out, but I’m reasonably certain….
